Mein Name ist Christian Förster und ich bin seit einigen Jahren als Cutter für verschiedene TV- und Filmproduktionen tätig.

Meine Haupttätigkeit ist der Schnitt von TV-Beiträgen, allerdings bin ich auch in der Lage, Motion Graphics zu erstellen. Überzeugen Sie sich: eine Auswahl an Arbeiten finden Sie in meinem Portfolio.

Ich arbeite mit den Systemen der Avid-Familie (XPress, Media Composer, NewsCutter, Symphony) und Final Cut Pro sowie After Effects und Motion. DVDs erstelle ich mit DVD Studio Pro oder Adobe Encore.

Encoding fürs Web oder andere Gelegenheiten vollführe ich mit den Tools, die mir gerade zur Verfügung stehen; derzeit setze ich meist Apples Compressor ein.

Ich bin darüber hinaus in der Lage, Avid-Systeme zu administrieren und habe ein großes technisches Verständnis — zu allererst liebe ich es jedoch, Inhalte zu erstellen!

My name is Christian Förster, and for a couple of years I’ve been editing different TV shows and movies.

Mainly I’m editing TV shows; however, I am able to do motion graphics as well. See for yourself: a selection of my works is available to watch right here in my portfolio.

I am working with all flavors of Avid editing software (XPress, Media Composer, NewsCutter, Symphony) and Final Cut Pro as well as After Effects and Motion. For DVD creation I use DVD Studio Pro and Adobe Encore.

When encoding video for the web or other destinations, I use the tools at hand; right now Apple’s compressor is my tool of choice as it comes “free” with Final Cut Studio.

I am capable of administering Avid systems and have deep knowledge about the technical aspects of my line of work.
